Allegiant Air doubled the number of flights over the next two years and Appleton, WI, had the second-largest concentration of COVID-vaccinated passenger aircraft in North America. The Baird Creek Trail began as a strip of smooth asphalt that snaked through a reed stream, and the East River Trail snaked for a little over six miles. The Fox River State Trail connected Packerland with pasture land, rolled through the farmed community and led into Fox Valley, a small farming community north of Menasha. It ran along the east side of the river, snaking past the town of Green Bay, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) and Wisconsin State Park before snaking south.
